Why iShine Matters

Every woman carries a story, some of strength, some of survival, and many of silent struggle. In the shadows of our communities, countless women face the daily reality of social isolation, financial disadvantage, and the trauma of domestic and family violence. They are resilient, capable and full of potential, yet too often unseen, unheard, and unsupported.

iShine, an initiative by LEAD Connect, offers these women a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive pathway to employment, confidence, and community connection.

iShine is unfunded by government, giving us the flexibility to support each woman’s unique journey, without trying to fit her into boxes or rigid program structures.
