No IT Expertise Required. As a Digital Mentor, you don’t need to be an IT expert. Your passion for helping others navigate the digital world is what matters most.

LEAD’s comprehensive Digital Mentor training program will equip you with the skills and
knowledge you need:

Understanding Your Role: Discover the responsibilities and skills of a Digital Mentor.
Inspiring Learners: Learn how to motivate people to embrace the digital age.
Overcoming Barriers: Find strategies to help learners overcome obstacles to digital learning.
Setting Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries for the support you provide.

You will also have access to a series of self-paced online foundation and essential digital skills courses and resources to help you with your role as a Digital Mentor!

Upon completing this course, you will receive a Digital Mentor Certificate. You may then choose to either –
volunteer and become a trusted guide for individuals aged 50 years and over on their digital journey or
pursue an employment pathway to train other Digital Mentors
